Ivoclar Prime Zirconia

Barksdale Ultra Translucent zirconia is intended for full contour monolithic use and has the translucent and esthetic qualities of natural dentition and pressed ceramics. This material is perfect for all highly aesthetic treatments in anterior tooth region as well as for use in the posterior tooth region. The new Ultra Translucent full contour zirconia combines the known positive properties of zirconia with a significant increase in translucency as it is known only from lithium disilicate.

The high translucent materials are indicated for crowns and bridges up to 3 units. This Ultra Translucent zirconia is the latest in the 4Y class of zirconia which means it has a 5% higher translucency. (It is the latest cutting edge material that we are transitioning to here at Barksdale).

Indications:

• Barksdale Multi layered zirconia is indicated for full crowns and bridges up to 12 units. This product is available in 16 Vita shades plus bleach.

Tooth preparation requirements can be that of a PFM or an all ceramic material. This full contour zirconia can be conventionally cemented.
